Share Your Live Location on WhatsApp

The Live Location feature allows you to share your real-time location for a specific amount of time. You can choose to share your live location with the participants of a group chat or with just one contact via an individual chat. 

Your location is shared at the chat level, which means you can share your live location in a one-on-one WhatsApp conversation or a group chat. You need to turn on Location and give WhatsApp location permission in your phone's settings.

Open a chat with the person or group you want to share with. Under "Location" in the attach button, there's a new option to "Share Live Location." Choose for how long you want to share and tap send.

Live Location is available on both Android and iPhone and will be rolling out in the app in the coming weeks. We hope you like it.
